We run a small editorial site, we collect as little as a website can reasonably collect, and we do not sell any of it.
What this is
This page explains how Best Crypto Card handles information when you read the site or write to us. It is deliberately short, because our practices are deliberately simple. There is no account to create here, no newsletter to subscribe to, and nothing to buy — you read a page and, if you decide to, you follow a link elsewhere.
What we collect
Three things, and no more:
- Standard server logs. Like any web server, ours records requests: an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested, and the browser's user-agent string. This is how a site stays online and how we notice when something breaks or someone is attacking it.
- Anything you send us voluntarily. If you email us, we have your email address and whatever you chose to write. We did not ask for it and we do not add it to any list.
- Basic aggregate analytics. Counts of page views, rough referral sources, broad country-level geography. We look at this to understand which pages are useful. It tells us that a hundred people read the comparison table; it does not tell us who they were.
We do not sell, rent or trade data. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not run ad networks on this site, and we do not attempt to identify individual readers or follow them around the web.
If you never email us, we have no way of knowing who you are — and we prefer it that way.
Cookies
Essentially none. We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking or behavioural profiling. Anything set is technically necessary — the sort of thing that keeps a page loading correctly or protects the site from abuse. If your browser blocks cookies entirely, the site still works.
Outbound links
Several links here point outward. Each one leaves through best-crypto-card.com/get/, which is simply our own address forwarding you to the issuer — it lets us count how many readers took the step without handing your identity to anyone. The forwarding hop stores nothing about you personally.
The moment the redirect completes, you have left Best Crypto Card and you are on someone else's site, governed by their privacy policy and their choices about data. We do not control what they collect, how long they keep it, or who they share it with, and we are not responsible for it. The same applies to any card issuer, partner or service you reach from here. Read their policies before you hand anything over.
Data retention
We keep very little, and we keep it for no longer than it is useful. Server logs rotate out on a short cycle. Analytics are aggregate and hold nothing that identifies a person. Correspondence stays in our inbox for as long as the conversation is live and a reasonable period afterwards, in case you write back.
Your requests
Write to us and we will honour any reasonable request. That includes asking what we hold about you, asking for a copy, or asking us to delete it. We do not require a form, a justification or a specific legal phrasing — a clear email is enough, and we will act on it promptly. Where a request is unclear, we will ask one question rather than send you a template.
Changes
We may update this page at any time, usually because something about how the site is built has changed. The date at the top tells you when the current version was written. We do not keep a changelog of previous versions, so if this matters to you, read the date.
Contact
For anything serious — a deletion request, a privacy question, or a concern about how the site behaves — write to contacts@best-crypto-card.com. A person reads that inbox.
